Almost 30 years ago, I stood in the heart of Montreal with my classmates fascinated by the vibrant energy and rich history around me – a world away from my regular school environment. This class trip, made possible by an act of kindness from within my school community, profoundly shaped my childhood and inspired my path toward community involvement.
